CPAWS New Brunswick invites you to spend time in nature and enjoy the rich Fall colours on October 7, 2023 for Thanks to Nature.
What is Thanks to Nature?
Thanks to Nature is an opportunity to thank Nature for what it provides all year round, over the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Join us on Saturday, October 7, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to be part of a new tradition, spend time outdoors to reconnect with nature and give #ThanksToNature at Mactaqauac Provincial Park!
Please come prepared with a water bottle and sturdy shoes for walking.
Location: Only a half-hour drive from Fredericton, Mactaquac Provincial Park sits along the beautiful Wolastoq (St. John) River. The park offers a diverse forested area home to various wildlife, with several trails that meander through the forest, including the Beaver Pond Trail and Alex Creek Trail.
This event is FREE, and open to all ages. Participants will be entered into a draw for several prizes and refreshments will be on hand.
